Due to Election Day, the 8 November 2016 PALT session has been canceled. There will not be a session in December 2016. PALT sessions will resume on 10 January 2017 as set forth in the schedule below.

I/ITSEC info-- The ACC-Orlando Executive Director will provide the ACC-ORL brief on Wednesday, 30 November 2016. The ACC-ORL Division Chiefs will also be in attendance and available to answer questions on specific procurements of interest after the briefing. Please check the official I/ITSEC program for room and time information.

Industry Stakeholders,

In response to Industry's continued requests to improve communication between Army Contracting Command-Orlando (ACC-ORL), PEO STRI, and Industry stakeholders, the ACC-ORL Executive Director/Principal Assistant Responsible for Contracting (PARC), Mr. Joseph A. Giunta, Jr., will continue hosting monthly Procurement Administrative Lead Time (PALT) update sessions open to all of Industry. For planning purposes, CY 2017 dates are as follows:

  • 11 April 2017
  • 9 May 2017
  • No session in June 2017
  • 11 July 2017
  • 8 August 2017
  • 12 September 2017
  • 17 October 2017

  • No session in December 2017

All sessions will be held in the following location:

Partnership III Building, Conference Room 321, 0900-1000

Orlando, FL 32826

RSVP: Not required. However, attendees must furnish I.D. and sign in before entering the session.

Each PALT update session will provide Industry the opportunity to request updates on specific procurements of interest in a Question & Answer (Q&A) type forum. There will not be a formal agenda, but rather an open Q&A session not to exceed 60 minutes. It will be up to Industry representatives to request an update on specific procurements of interest. Information to be provided by the Government will be limited to status updates pertaining to specific procurements. The Government will not provide any procurement sensitive information that would violate the integrity of the source selection process.

Although minutes/notes for each session will not be provided, a document library has been created on the ACC-ORL Business Opportunities Portal (a.k.a. STRIBOP) for posting of miscellaneous briefings/presentations that may be provided during the PALT update sessions. These presentations can be accessed via the following link:

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING PARKING: Due to limited parking in the Partnership II/III parking lot, all visitors MUST park in the large parking lot on the corner of Science Drive and Technology Parkway. The Partnership II/III parking lot is authorized parking for occupants only. Also, DO NOT PARK IN THE AT&T PARKING LOT AS YOUR CAR WILL BE SUBJECT TO BEING TOWED.

Due to the Labor Day holiday and other schedule conflicts, the September and October 2016 PALT Update sessions have been rescheduled as follows:

  • September session: Changed from 6 September to 13 September
  • October session: Changed from 4 October to 18 October
The sessions will be held at the normal time, 0900-0945, in the Partnership III Building, CR321.

Announcement:
STOC II (PEO STRI Omnibus Contract II), is a set of multiple-award Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to provide simulation, training and instrumentation products and services for the Warfighter, beginning with concept development and continuing throughout life cycle support. The objectives of STOC II include but are not limited to:

  1. facilitate the leveraging of programs and technology (to include Joint and/or Joint-related) in the best interests of the U.S. Army and Department of Defense;
  2. prepare the Warfighter to meet the challenges of the future Joint operational environment; and
  3. support continued growth in the interoperability of Live, Virtual, Constructive and Testing solutions to enhance training and testing capabilities of the Warfighter.

The STOC II contract consists of two Lots:
The Full & Open Lot (Lot I - 65 Contracts) and The Small Business Set-Aside Lot (Lot II- 41 Contracts). Currently in the Second Option Period - 01 Oct 2013 - 30 Sep 2016.
